Discovery

Find where AI makes a difference in your organisation

You know AI offers opportunities — but not where to start. Familiar, and exactly why we built the discovery. In 2-4 weeks we map together which processes will benefit most from AI.

What is an AI discovery?

An AI discovery maps in 2-4 weeks which processes in your organisation will benefit most from AI. Gaide talks to your management team and key staff, analyses processes, and delivers a prioritised list of opportunities plus a concrete implementation roadmap. The middle step between brainstorm and full strategy.

What is the Discovery?

Many directors know AI offers opportunities for their organisation but struggle with: which processes? What's the return? Where to start? A loose brainstorm doesn't answer that. An expensive strategy programme feels like too big a step.

The Discovery is the middle road. Gaide analyses your organisation through conversations with your management team and key staff, maps processes, and prioritises by impact and feasibility.

The result is a clear report on the AI opportunities in your organisation, ranked by concrete value, with an implementation roadmap that serves as the basis for whatever comes next.

What does it deliver?

AI-readiness report

A clear overview of your organisation: which processes are repeatable, which are data-driven, and where the concrete AI opportunities with most impact sit.

Prioritised AI opportunities

Not a list of twenty AI ideas, but the three to five opportunities that deliver most value for your specific situation, with a feasibility check.

Concrete roadmap

An implementation plan with timeline, order and indicative investment. You know exactly what the logical next step is — whether you continue yourself or with Gaide.

How does the engagement run?

Two to four weeks. No long lead-in, no vague process.

  1. Kickoff and intake

    1-2 hours

We start with a conversation with the board or management team. What are the strategic goals? What are the biggest challenges? Where is time being lost in daily work?

  2. Process analysis

    1-2 weeks

We talk to team leads and key staff on the shop floor. We analyse the processes that would benefit most from automation or AI support.

  3. Inventory and prioritisation

    3-5 working days

Based on the conversations we put together a priority list: which AI opportunities are biggest, which most feasible, which deliver the fastest return?

  4. Reporting and presentation

    1 presentation

We deliver a clear report and present it to your management team. You get answers on: what are the opportunities, what does it cost, what does it deliver, what's the logical order?

What does it cost?

Every engagement is bespoke. We always give an honest estimate after the first conversation — no vague ranges, no hidden costs.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a discovery and an AI strategy?

The discovery is the first step — it maps what's possible in your organisation. An AI strategy goes deeper and broader: multiple departments, longer term, more stakeholders. Many clients start with a discovery and then decide to do a full strategy.

How long does a discovery take?

On average two to four weeks, depending on staff availability and the size of the analysis. We don't schedule unnecessary sessions — every step has a purpose.

Do we then have to take AI strategy or implementation from Gaide?

Absolutely not. The report is yours — you can use it as a basis for an engagement with us, with another party, or do it yourself. We aren't consultants who create dependency.

At what level of the organisation is the discovery relevant?

We recommend starting at business unit or department level. That keeps it manageable and we deliver results fast. After that you can scale to multiple departments.

What if we already have an idea of where we want to use AI?

That's a great starting point. We confirm (or nuance) that idea with the analysis, and identify other opportunities you may not have considered.
